Amazon's departure for Gaming Industry
With the launch of Crucible, a free-to-play online shooter and the company's first original high-budget title, Amazon took a massive move into the gaming business on Wednesday. ... Crucible is created by Relentless Studios, an Amazon Games production team based in Seattle headed by Westwood Studios co-founder, Louis Castle.
Accessible for Windows 10, the game is a team-based sci-Fi shooter that lets players chase enemies. It's close to other major hits like Warcraft, Apex Legends, Fortnite among others. It was first revealed in 2016.
For Amazon, Crucible would be a litmus bit of a test because it seems like going more into the competitive $120 billion gaming market. Amazon purchased Twitch for nearly $ 1 billion in 2014 .
Amazon Crucible has a release date scheduled for May 20, 2020 which was 1 day before yesterday and this week we will be able to download it from steam
